REI, an American company, has one of the best sites I've seen for promoting knowledge and, of course, its own products. It seems to be set up as a Co-op. This link has information and short video clips about how to "fit" a backpack. It's a nice site to window shop if you are in Canada, like me, and if you are in the U.S.,it has a directory of stores as well.
